Overview

Due to the specialized nature of our research-use-only products, all sales on MetaMolecule.co are final. To ensure accurate, secure, and compliant handling of every order, Meta Molecule maintains a strict no-return policy. This policy helps protect product integrity and supports safe handling practices.

In limited or exceptional circumstances, Meta Molecule may authorize a return, replacement, store credit, or refund at our sole discretion.

When We May Offer a Replacement or Resolution

Damaged Orders

If your package arrives damaged, contact us within 24 hours of delivery and include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the damaged product(s) and packaging

We will review your request and determine an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement or partial refund, depending on the situation.

Undelivered Packages

If your order is not delivered and USPS tracking confirms a failed delivery, we will reship your order at no additional charge.

“Delivered” but Not Received

If USPS marks your package as Delivered but you did not receive it:

  1. You must file a Missing Mail Request with USPS.
  2. If USPS confirms the package was lost or misdelivered, Meta Molecule will reship the order at our cost.
  3. If USPS confirms successful delivery, Meta Molecule is not responsible for replacement or reshipment, as the delivery obligation has been fulfilled.

Not Eligible for Return or Refund

  • Requests submitted after the 24-hour damaged-delivery reporting window
  • Products that have been used, opened, tampered with, or stored improperly
  • Orders where USPS confirms successful delivery
  • Change-of-mind requests or misunderstandings regarding product use (research use only)

Authorized Returns: Fees & Refunds

If a return is authorized by Meta Molecule:

  • A 20% restocking fee will apply
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only after the returned item is received and inspected

Chargeback Policy

Meta Molecule takes fraud and chargebacks seriously.

  • Unauthorized or uncommunicated chargebacks may be considered a breach of this policy and may result in a permanent ban from future purchases.
  • Before initiating a chargeback, please contact us so we can work to resolve the issue promptly and professionally.
  • In the event of a chargeback, Meta Molecule will provide full order documentation and delivery confirmation to the payment processor to dispute the claim.
  • If a chargeback is successfully reversed, we reserve the right to seek recovery of any related fees and expenses to the extent permitted by law.
